2025 Model Updates

New Mazda CX-50

Mazda has upgraded the base model CX-50’s offerings for 2025, dropping the previously standard 8.8-inch infotainment display and giving all models the larger 10.3-inch unit. Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is now standard across the lineup as well. Several enhancements have been made to the CX-50’s driver-assistance tech, including a new rear-seat alert system and better nighttime performance of the pedestrian detection system. The wireless smartphone charging pad, which previously had been limited to the top Premium Plus trims, is now available as standard on all but the base Select.

New Mazda CX-30

A new native navigation system debuts with more detail, live traffic, and over-the-air updates. Alexa compatibility also expands the features that can be controlled via voice commands, and a new Aero Gray Metallic paint color is available.

New Mazda CX-5

The S trim returns, offering a more affordable base model while the nonturbo Premium trim has been discontinued. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and phone charging are now standard on the Carbon Edition model, and the Premium Plus gains a surround-view camera system and parking sensors. All 2025 CX-5s also switch to USB-C inputs for the front seats.

New Mazda3 Sedan

Mazda now offers the Mazda3’s base model as either a sedan or hatchback. Previously, it was only offered as a sedan. All non-base trims receive embedded Alexa capability as part of their infotainment system. The Carbon Edition is offered with the base (non-turbocharged) engine this year with standard all-wheel drive, Polymetal Gray exterior paint, 18-inch black aluminum alloy wheels, gloss-black heated door mirrors, a red leather interior, and wireless device charging. Last year’s Carbon Turbo trim returns as well. A Bose premium audio system is standard on Premium and Turbo Premium Plus models, and optional elsewhere.

New Mazda CX-90

The CX-90 adds a Premium Sport trim level, replacing the just-plain Premium with the standard engine. The Premium Sport’s key elements are black exterior accents: the grille, the badging, the side mirrors, the lower bumpers, and the roof rails. The Premium Sport also gets 21-inch wheels with a dark finish. Additionally, the second-row bench seat is more widely available (as opposed to the optional captain’s chairs), and the 12.3-inch infotainment display is now standard except on the base model. The Preferred Plus trim level is dropped, as is the base Turbo S.

New Mazda CX-50 Hybrid

Newly introduced in 2025, the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid offers a combination of power and efficiency for eco-conscious drivers. The hybrid powertrain delivers excellent fuel economy without sacrificing performance, making it an ideal choice for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
